Design Contest - A Logo for Mesh Tormentor

We invite everyone to take part in a contest to design a logo for Free Mesh Tormentor plug-in, which has been developed to work in gradient meshes. Even through the plug-in has been there for several years already, while keeping our work easier, it, unfortunately, still doesn't have a logo. Our web-site is the sponsor of this contest; moreover, users of the plug-in can increase the prize-fund by contributing into it.

What logo do we need?

I think, the easier the logo is, the better it is. Often, the simplest solution is also the most effective. The minimalist approach makes it possible to use the logo practically in every situation, beginning from some posters and ending with favicon for website and or panel icon in Illustrator. Moreover, the simplicity of the logo makes it easier to recognize it, thereby increasing its longevity and independence from time trends.

The Prize Fund

In the beginning of our contest the prize fund is $100. We also hope for your contribution (if you are a plug-in user), which will make this small prize more attractive for professional designers. How long the contest will last for?

The contest will run for a month until July 20, 2013.

What file format with logo do we need?

Since we will use the logo for different purposes, we’d like to receive the logo in vector format (preferably in eps format). But other formats will be accepted for the context as well (like PNG, JPEG).

How can I take part in this contest?

Send your logos to email: lazun@i.ua. Please specify the subject: Mesh Tormentor logo. Absolutely all of your work will be added to this post with a link to your resources (if they exist), and will take part in the competition.

Who chooses the winner?

At the end of the contest the winner will be selected by the developer of Mesh Tormentor - Iaroslav Tabachkovsky.

How will the winner get the prize?

In order to receive the prize, the winner should simply have a paypal or a moneybookers account. Money will be transferred within a few days after the contest is over.
