| merci for your really clever plugin
I tried to transform pen path into mesh according to your protocole i.e. in doing a patato shape closed figure by hand, and then in slicing it by path and select all, then doing pathfinders "division" and then pushing "create one cell mesh based on path"..till there all goes ok..and when keeping selected i push "sew docks mesh together"..pfuiit all desapeare..there is no more things in my layer..sometimes it works (rarely) but i dont understand what i did wrong befor
could you tell me where I probably mess ?
merci encore
(and btw where can i find you russian pdf on 4.00 download page in english?)

| bonjour, thank you for your reply
i havent see this tutorial even if i though to look at everyone around on MT
i tried carefully this news way but if my doodle this time doesnt disapear it gives only a neat (i suppose that would mean "docked"?) grouped path in my layer but not a mesh at all…i precise, as the reply beneath the tuto to the guy who seemed to have the same issue, i draw -without- fill.
too bad for me, as i find your way would be the grail for using mesh in AI ! i am a long user of illustrator but as a free hand drawer i always found their mesh protocol good eneuf for "slave hands" and nearly never used it but your plugin would be for me a make in bed with this still then inflatable muse for maniac.
any other idea for my probable clumsiness ?
salut et fraternité

| ..a small plus
it works (not at each time for me thought) only if there is no "closed" figures at the biginning (as in your linked tutorial) but only with a macaroni grids with the pen..voilà
