Hello Jaroslav.
First, thank you for taking the time to help others with your expertise.
About the vector bubbles, what blending mode do you use for overlapping bubbles (or any transparent objects)? I have been using Hard Light when the bubbles have a bright color, but the background isn't always congruous with that.
Suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi there,

I used Screen Blending Mode for bubble's objects and Normal Blending Mode for whole bubble. Notice: you should use RGB color mode (File> Document Color Mode> RGB color)

I'm trying to make this on Illustrator CS5 and I'm stuck at Step 10. I'm trying to achieve the light effect for the additional shapes using the same technique (Gradient Mesh Tool), and it's not working. The gradient does not apply. I do the following steps:

- I make an oval shape using Ellipse Tool
- Set the fill to black
- Set a point on the shape using mesh tool
- Change to colour to white for that point
- Set the blending mode to screen
- Then I lower the opacity

All it gives me is a dull uniform white, with no gradient/sheen.
Please help. I'm trying to learn how to use Illustrator and this tutorial is very cool indeed!
