CorelDRAW Tutorial: Creation of Realistic Female Vector Portrait

posted by: Alexey Oglushevich, in Illustrator Tutorials / Illustration/ Comments: 1

Today our team introduces you two video tutorials about work in CorelDraw. These tutorials were created by a famous Russian vector designer Alexey Oglushevich, the winner of the CorelDRAW International Design Contest 2009. You have a unique opportunity to observe the working process of photorealistic vector images creation. The tutorials are accompanied by author’s subtitles.

The main tool to create photorealistic images in these videos will be the Blend Tool. Alexey applies the transparency from 70% to 90% to the upper blend object. The lower object always has 0% transparency. Then forms of the objects are changed with the Shape Tool. You can get incredible results while using this simple technique. Check it out yourself!
