Random Rotate Linear Gradient - Free Adobe Illustrator Script

Today I introduce you Illustrator Script which rotates a linear gradient angle of all selected objects randomly. This script was designed by Iaroslav Tabachkovsky.

Install the scripts into the following folder, for example:

For Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5\Presets\en_GB\Scripts

For Mac:  Applications / Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5\Presets\en_GB\Scripts

To demonstrate the work of the script create a couple of circles and fill them with different linear gradients with an angle of slope of 0 degrees.

Select all the objects and go to the File > Script > Random Rotate Linear Gradient.

As you can see, the angles of linear gradients have now random values. I want to underline here, before the script is applied the selected objects must be ungrouped.

I hope you’ll find some usage of this scrip in your work; you can use it for example in creation of abstract vector backgrounds.
